born in Peru and raised in San Francisco, California, Melissa Palacios has developed her artistic journey through diverse influences. After earning a BFA in Animation from San Jose State University in 2014, she spent two transformative years in Japan as an English instructor, enriching her art with a global perspective.
Upon returning to the U.S., Melissa made significant contributions to independent studios, particularly in visual development for video games and short films. She played a key role in the launch of the indie comic "REV" and co-led a visually captivating collaboration known as "Book 4: Restoration Project". she lent her visual talents to the Action Day Creative Jam for Mental Health 2021, bringing together over 100 artists for the cause.
recently, she dedicates her talents to Elsewhere, an indie gaming team, contributing to their beta game with a focus on character development. Her artistic prowess breathes life into digital realms, enchanting people and fueling their sense of wonder.
